Happy Halloween!

This was the first year that X and I passed out candy at our own house. We were really looking forward to it, especially since we're good friends with everyone on our street. Well, I get home from work at 6 pm and I see yellow caution tape as I was approaching our house. I thought, "Wow, someone decided to decorate our house for us." Then I remembered...we were the idiots who scheduled to have our front porch completely re-surfaced on Halloween!! The thought never crossed our minds that it would kind of prohibit the little kids walking up our steps and knocking at our front door. Seriously, what were we thinking?

But it turned out okay. We sat on our driveway passing out candy, talking to neighbors, and enjoying the nice weather. Lesson learned!

We had dressed up the week before as 70's prom go-ers, but I didn't get a picture. X had a sweet bell bottomed suit and I had a green velvet dress with yellow feather ruffles! A sight to behold! My siblings did a much better job dressing up this year. I didn't get good pictures, but hopefully they'll have some on their blogs. Full on Star Wars cast! They did an awesome job! Be sure to check out Chris, Kristy, and Sammy's costumes!!

And last but not least, thanks Janette for stepping in and hosting an awesome Halloween party!! Your dad's costume was the BEST!!

I knew you were holding out on us!! lol. Thanks for all the updates ... that wedding looked amazing!!!

The picture of X is hilarious. At first I thought he was a cardboard cut out or something, and then I was like, "no, X is really that muscley" lol.

You've been one busy lady this past month! How fun that you were able to go to Utah and catch up with so many people. I'm glad you had such a great time.
