The Rains Came Down and the Floods Came Up

I should be in Alabama right now, but thanks to the buckets that poured yesterday, I am not. I was supposed to be going to do a property inspection for work, but instead I spent nearly 12 hours in the airport waiting yesterday. I went through security three separate times but never actually got on a plane! After several delays and cancellations, my co-worker and I gave up and went home! So, thank you clouds, for bringing torrents of rain so that I did not have to fly on September 11th (not that Birmingham is hot on the terrorists radar!) My dad also got out of a business trip too!
