...your door mat starts sprouting seedlings of some sort. Yes, you read that right. Our back door mat never gets a chance to dry out. 
The other day I noticed some green spots on it and realized that they were little leaves sprouting right out of the mat! I got a little grossed out by it (don't ask me why...it's weird...I know), so X pulled the big chunk off before I decided to get the camera. So you'll have to settle for the itty bitty dots of green. They looked like Alfalfa sprouts. Crazy to me!And yes, it's still raining today.

Funny....I didn't notice the tiny barely green leaves...I was focused on the bigger, darker green leaf looking things and I was saying to myself "YEAH!!! I'd be grossed out too!!!" lol....then I saw the tiny little leaves...that's funny. They totally look like alfalfa sprouts. If I remember correctly, you like sprouts on your sandwiches....yum!!! FREE sprouts! lol.
Funny that you should remember, but yes, I do love sprouts on my sandwiches. But I think I'll have to get mine from the grocery store instead of my molding back mat!

That's pretty grose. I am definitely ready for the rain to let up. I feel like poor Katie has been couped up inside for so long.
Hilarious! Maybe you should try growing some nice tomato plants in the fertile rug of yours.
