FC Dallas soccer game. They won! Note: Soccer is definitely more exciting when someone is winning (a 0 to 0 game is so boring to me! X will catch me looking in the opposite direction of the field and will say, "Em...what are you looking at?" Me: "Right, right. The game." I like to people watch!) Thanks for winning for us on the 4th guys!
After the game Clay Aiken performed in concert. Sad to say we didn't stay...just didn't feel up to it. But the little girls who ran like crazy on the field were sure feeling it. Hope they made your night Clay!
We later got stuck in traffic and watched fireworks on the side of the road. But we were with family and my nephew Ethan thought it was cool, so it was worth it.
I have one question though...why don't we get the 5th of July off as well? It's not fair to make everyone go back to work after we've all been up late watching fireworks the night before. We get New Years Day off after a night of partying? Why not the 5th of July?

I was thinking yesterday....why couldn't Independence Day be like the 4th of March? It's so stinkin' hot in July! The game looks like fun...I can't believe you bailed on Clay Aiken!!! He's like the coolest thing ever! lol.
Looks like a fun 4th! I love soccer games, but I would agree on the score thing...much more exciting when they actually get the ball in the goal.
