Graydon turned two on Sunday. Wow...this baby of mine is a big boy now! We had a tractor-themed birthday party with some of his little friends. I learned something...I need to take better birthday pictures. Oh my gosh, they all stink! But we had so much fun!

Here is the boy enjoying his picnic lunch in the backyard. We had outdoor toys and things to play with, while us parents melted.

See what I mean? Our pictures are not good! This blurry one is not cute, but I loved the pure excitement in Graydon's face when he saw his cake with a dump truck, bulldozer, cement mixer, worms, and cones. I specifically name them because Graydon knows all his heavy duty vehicles by name and points them out on every car ride.

Here is our only "family picture" at his party. Seriously?! Yep.

As you can see in previous pictures, our boy was becoming shaggy again. And we attempted the haircut after his party on our own (his "hairdresser" is on maternity leave!) We didn't do too bad. Not perfect, but not too bad.

This seemed like a lot of hair to me, so I wanted everyone to see it compared to my foot. Seemed like a good idea at the time...I suppose I was still suffering from heat exhaustion from the party earlier.
The cute boy playing post-haircut. I love it not being in his eyes anymore.
We love you boyfriend! You are a dream come true for you and your daddy!

The pictures are great, we wish we were there with you. The new pictures on the right hand side are really a nice update. Well done Tara.
Your blog is so cute! And we had so much fun at the party, it was a major success.
I love him! Happy Birthday big guy. I also love your haircut.
aack! Can't believe these boys (yours and mine) are 2!!! It wasnt terribly long ago we were both sitting in the mother's lounge at church with these tykes. Sigh.
Bahahaha- love the awesome pictures. And I cracked up at the foot vs. hair pile comparison.
Awesome.
Seems like a fabulous baby-book page: See son? The pile of hair we cut off on your 2nd birthday was nearly as big as mama's foot! ...

nice. ;)
What a handsome dude. Seriously. I love that the cast made it to the party. Happy Birthday Graydon!
I just got all caught up with you. We've been a little busy moving! It was kinda cute to pop on your blog and see little Graydon in an army green cast. Hope he heals up well. Your trip to Hawaii looked unbelievably fun too! Miss you!
