Pie and Pinewood Derby

This summer I was released from working with the Young Women and called as the Activities Chairman. I know...don't even bother stifling the laughter...it's the most covetous calling...you're all jealous!

We had our first big activity this week: a Pie and Pinewood Derby. We have a family pinewood derby and a bake-off. It was really fun, but totally chaotic to me. Everyone was really excited about it, but I'm glad it's over. Here are a few pics:

This was a cake entry to our bake-off. I loved the pinewood derby car on top!

This car was awesome! I love the homage it paid to our bake-off. It was a lemon meringue pie slice with a fork in it!
