On Saturday I ran the Too Cold to Hold 15K with some friends (Amy Shumway, Miko Johnson, Maggie Kerr, Natalie Joyner, and me!). 
It is a great stepping stone to my ultimate goal (which is a marathon...one day). It was around White Rock Lake, which provided zero protection against the cold wind.

I was proud of how well we did, running faster than we normally do. The best part was seeing my two men waiting for me at the finish line. 
Just in case anyone was wondering, 15K = 9.32056 miles (I had to look it up).

Em, way to go! My sister wants me to run her 20th marathon with her in April...yeah right! Let me try and run 3 miles first. You're an inspiration.

Way to go Hot Mama! I have that same goal. Maybe we'll have to do a big fun one as a group some day if we're ever not pregnant at the same time. It may be a while.
