Back in the day...

On Saturday we had a kickball tournament at church and we had so much fun! I had to go out and buy a ball for it, and I had no idea how happy it would make me! Remember these things:
Aren't they the best? It took me back to the good old days of four square on the elementary school blacktop and playing kickball in the gym for P.E. You can get them at Walmart for $2.50. I highly recommend them. How often can you buy happiness for just $2.50?

Four Square was always my favorite!

I was never very good at dodge ball...maybe I was "the" fat kid. I'd rather not go there. But I still liked playing. Good for you for getting in touch with your inner-child!

PS: I saw your comment on my blog and had to delete it. Not that you said anything wrong, but one of my new counselors reads my blog and I don't know that I want her to know about all the drama...yet. But thanks for the offer...I'm sure you'll hear from me. It already kept me up last night!!! Yikes.

I love it!! One of my favorite elementary school memories was when TJ Hixenbaugh said "She BOOTED it!" about my home run kick. Apparently that was THE complement to get from TJ Hixenbaugh.

Ok seriously, I just had a dream 2 nights ago about playing kickball! I don't how you feel about it, but I can also buy happiness in the form of an ice cream cone for about a dollar.

That's the great thing about being a mom. You have a wonderful excuse to do all those silly things you loved as a kid. I LOVE kick-ball. In fact I think I'll go play with Evan right now. Sure wish I had a walmart near by because I could sure use $2.50 worth of happiness.
