My friend Stephanie led her choir in a FABULOUS madrigal dinner. They sounded great!
Way to go Steph and your Renaissance Choir! She gets to keep this awesome dress!
My longtime friend Natalie had her fourth boy, Benjamin Scott Joyner. He is adorable, has tons of dark hair, and is perfectly healthy!
You look fantastic Nat...and you just had a baby! Not fair!Happy 25th birthday to my momma! If you want to know how old she really is, you have to count the candles because you'll never know how old she is by looking at her! You go girl!

One of my young women went to prom and Stephanie Nguyen and I had the pleasure of doing her hair. Interesting though, because I don't do hair,
but we had fun and I think it turned out pretty good! Erin, you look great and I LOVE the modest dress! Shout out to you for shopping hard enough to find it!
We were unfortunately witnesses to a horrible accident Saturday night where a car got side-swiped by another speeding car. I only bring this up because we got to witness car flight coming in, landing right on Legacy Drive about 50 yards away from us! Good thing for me that I always have my trusty camera with me!
I was AMAZED! I had never seen anything quite like it before. The two pilots jumped out, whipped off their helmets (one got to shake out his long mullet hair!) and strutted down the street to the waiting gurney. It was very Top Gunnish! I say to them, "strut all you'd like because you guys rock!"
I am now thoroughly impressed with Plano's emergency services. They were there in mere minutes! And please drive slow...it was very sad! The car was completely smashed to smithereens! (I think I just invented the spelling of that word!)The only cool thing that I did was go on a hike with my hubby. We are backpacking on our upcoming trip and I felt like I needed some practice.
So X packed up my pack with clothes and weights. I learned something really useful on this hike...I'm the one who will be carrying the clothes and pillows. X will have to carry the heavy stuff! I got really tired half way through and X had to take out the weights and carry
them the rest of the hike! Sorry honey! As you can see, you can find some pretty places in Texas if you look hard enough! I love wildflower season!
We came around a corner one time and we were face to face with this field of longhorns! As you can see, there was a barbed wire fence separating us, but I was totally freaked out! It was thin wire! You don't ever want to find yourself face to face with a longhorn bull!
It was a good thing that they were too lazy to get up and charge us!Oh yeah, we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary a week ago! Yea for us! Now we only have eternity to go!
And that's it for now folks!

Awesome post! You're not boring!
I bet you're so excited for your trip. You'll have so much fun. I love that area you found to hike in. Where was that?
I agree with Brian...great post, and you're not boring....if you're boring, then I'm boring. The picture of X carrying those weights made me laugh out loud. SO FUNNY! Love it.
Em - that's at Erwin Park in McKinney. I think we've been there together once when the Plano guys tried to have a big group date...we roasted marshmellows or something. Anyway, it's really pretty right now.
J - X totally didn't pose for that picture! He didn't know I was taking it. That's what he was doing the whole hike. Poor guy.
Love this post. I've been missing you and wondered where you were. Glad your life is just "boring" - although I highly doubt it! So excited for your trip to Europe. Remind me, when do you go?
