Utah

We went to Utah! X has been working all of the holidays this year and he really needed some time off...so we picked up and went to Utah (we were going to drive, but flew instead...much to my relief!!)

It was so nice because usually our trips are very planned out with a lot of stuff going on. But we planned each day as it came and did a lot of relaxing and visiting. I realized after going through these pictures that there are many people that we didn't get photos with. Sorry! We still love you! Here are the ones we did take!

Graydon discovered his love affair with dogs. My Grandparents have this little poodle, Lily, and she was gracious enough to let Graydon get close and touch her! He honestly woke up saying "doggy" and "puppy."

Graydon and Grandma and Grandpa Harris (or Chica as we know them!)

Grandma and Grandpa Hall

Graydon got loved on A LOT this week! He's been very liberal with his kisses lately and gave one to all four grandparents...which means an open-mouth slobber of course!

He got to hide in the mountains of pillows at G-ma Hall's house. Surprisingly enough, he was so good and didn't bother but one or two knick-knacks at each grandparent's house.

Saw my old faithful friend Lisa, who is 7 months pregnant! I really miss you Lisa! You always make me laugh.

Visited with X's mission president, Pres. Brenchley. He's a good soul...he pulled out three boxes of crackers for Graydon to rifle through!

Visited Temple Square, where the headquarters of our church is, along with the Salt Lake Temple and the Conference Center.

Here is a view of the Conference Center. This place is amazing! Everywhere we went had such a great spirit about it.
Had too much fun with papa (SL Temple in background)!

Graydon cheesing it up on the roof of the Conference Center. He sat there patiently until I was done taking the pic...what a guy!

We hiked in Zion's National Park! Amazing!
Check out the views in the background. So beautiful! This was one of my favorite days. The temperature could not have been better and with tourist season being over, we found mostly older people hiking around and they were so nice!

A cheesy photo, I know, but I just love the red rocks and cliffs!

X, as the pack horse!

We saw so many beautiful Fall Colors! Utah is beautiful in Autumn! Brian took us to this place called Cascade Springs. There were pools all over the place to walk over.

Graydon did lots of exploring!

We went to the campus of BYU and took the kids from our church down here out to eat. Yea for Freshman year! We didn't get any other pics on campus and that makes me sad. We had such a great time reminiscing and it made both X and I sad to not be there. We both have such great memories of BYU. X did get to go play an intramurals soccer game one night, which was a treat. What was not a treat? The awful TCU/BYU game that weekend...we won't go there.

Drove by our old studio apartment where rent was $375 a month! Sweet! Can't beat that!

We reunited the cousins and re-ignited the love *obsession* between Ethan and Graydon!

Ethan wanted Graydon constantly...as evidenced by the picture above. Being next to him was not enough...he needed to be touching him! You'll be a great big brother Ethie!

Good times!
This is a picture from Graydon's last trip to Utah to see cousin's in March of this year. Look at how much he has changed in seven months!

Wow! Looks like a great trip! My last trip to utah was also "unplanned" and it was one of the best I've had. Graydon is getting so big and looks like a little boy now! Hang in there on the "low" days...a "high" day is right around the corner...or hour. And Definitely, get in YOUR time!

Oh so sad we missed you! Looks like you had a great time! And Emily, you look so good! Makes me all the more impatient to get my pre-baby body back. Seriously.
