We had a fabulous Valentine's Day - I vote it the best yet!
We had what we call a "family date." We went to Hibachi Rock (where they cook the food in front of you). Graydon loved watching it and he discovered that he likes to eat rice (not in cereal form)!
We then desserted on Paciugo's gelato which = heaven!Last week I had to go to Washington, D.C. for a quick business trip. I didn't want to go and leave my baby, but I also want to keep my job (especially since it's the sweetest job ever: I work part-time from home and get to stay with my baby all day!). I bawled when I left, even though I'd be back in 24 hours.
I don't think he noticed I was gone. He played with Nana all day and then hung out with Dad at night. (And I have to admit that I had fun!) I had to go to the airport at 5:00 am and it was pretty cool driving through the Capitol in the darkness with all of the monuments lit up. I love our country!
Graydon is all over the place these days: crawling, "worming," pulling up on anything.
At each new stage we say that it's our favorite. He's just so laughy, smiley, and fun!

Aww, Em I love the new pictures! Glad you had a fun quick trip to DC. That must have been a neat get away. But I'm sure I'd agree that 24 hr is long enough to be away from your baby.
I vote this year my best Valentine's Day yet too! We had so much fun. I'm glad you aren't sick like everyone else down in Texas. I can't get enough of Graydon, and I can't wait for you to come visit! See you soon!!!!!

Love that toothless grin at the bottom. He's so cute. And jealous of your trip to DC. Just your little description brought back a flood of memories. I miss that place.
