On Saturday X, my brother Chris, and two of our friends, Richard and Scott participated in the Denison Dash Triathlon. It was a sprint triathlon (300m swim, 13.2 mile ride, 3.5 mile run) and they all did fabulous!It was so much fun to see all of these boys do this together! It was fun as wives and kids to be there to cheer them on (minus Stephanie who is in Utah with family).
Go X, Go! You only have a certain area where you can get on your bike, so this was X running to it!
Chris and X were neck and neck coming in at the finish line! It was awesome seeing the two of them come in together! Chris, by the way, has lost over 60 pounds recently! Woo hoo!! We're so proud of him!

That's so funny to see these guys from high school. Way to go Chris on loosing 60 pounds! That's awesome. I've been wanting to do a triathalon so badly. I was training for one with my sisters-in-law but then got pregnant with Katie like a month before and couldn't continue because I felt too sick. One of these days. My sister Liz has inspired me though, she just finished her second Iron Man.

Congrats X! How fun. I'm glad the race went well. I love Graydon's shirt and the picture of you standing a good distance from X to avoid the sweat- I would have totally done the same thing- so gross! :)
That's awesome! Chris is so impressive!! X is a machine! And Emily's sister Liz is an animal ... 2 Iron Man's? SERIOUSLY?! That's the hardest triathalon in the world! Animal!

That's awesome that they all did it together! I've done one sprint, last may...and I'm glad I was the only person I knew. I really stink at the bike. :) I love the picture of you trying not to get too close to your sweaty husband. Dan comes home from runs and bike rides, so drenched, I don't notice is shirt is completely WET, not dry, and I give him a great big hug, only to find a big suprise. NASTY. :) Great job guys!
Hey, I have a dental friend who's husband did that race too. How funny is that. That's pretty impresive. I want to do a sprint triathalon some day, but for heavens sake I don't really know how to swim. Oh well.
