How on earth do we have a one-month old baby? Seriously...it seems like earlier today I was still pregnant. Such a cliche, but it must be said: TIME FLIES!
Graydon turned one month old yesterday. He has been doing good. Can't say the same for me. I have now experienced the worst of mastitis and have already informed X that if I get it again he has strict orders to put me out of my misery. It was truly worse than labor, delivery, and the aftermath of recovery. Mastitis could be used as the worst form of torture. So, we only have a few pictures.
Having said that, Graydon does seem a little affected by mom's infection, but he's a trooper and is still a good boy! He now weighs 8 lbs 13 oz., putting him in the 25th percentile! Getting bigger with each visit! He had a vaccine today and I now understand why other moms have cried at those appointments. It was awful! Despite what these pictures show, his acne is getting better.
He has found his thumb! Of course, it only stays in his mouth for about 10 seconds though.
He had his first smile on Saturday while playing coy with mom! Since he's still little we only get about one or two on-demand smiles a day, but we get about a thousand smiles in his sleep and it's the cutest thing. I really need to try to capture one on film.
Oh yeah, and I got my hair cut. 
My hair lady, Maryanne, is back in business and it made my day. I'm bummed I didn't have enough to donate, but it didn't hold me back from going SHORT! It's just too hot here for long hair and it would have been forever in a ponytail.

Congrats Emily. He is so beautiful. And I'm with you on the mastitis. It is so awful. I had it twice with Brayden and four times with Tawny. No fun at all. Cute hair!
Time does fly. He's so cute. Baby acne does suck, but it does go away, too. And then it comes back when they are 13. Bummer.
But seriously, he is a doll. And so are you! :)

HATE mastitis. I agree it IS pure TORTURE. As if your body doesn't take enough of a hit being pregnant and giving birth...
