In just a couple of minutes from now Graydon officially turns two-weeks old! Wow, how time flies. We had our check-up this morning and he gained almost a pound, coming in at 7 lbs. 10 oz. now. He's in the 18th percentile for weight, but gaining more each day. He also grew 3/4 of an inch in a week and a half. Can you imagine doing that as an adult?
He's doing great, except for some reflux, which I'm sure bothers mommy and daddy more than it bothers him! He's doing all the things newborns are expected to do and makes us smile a lot. He's been smiling a lot too, but we know it's just because of gas. I guess those toots are good for something!
Grandma came over here this week and we had some fun with the camera, so enjoy these cute pics we took of him.

Happy 2-week birthday Graydon! Keep being a good boy for you mommy and daddy! You look like you're handling being a mommy well, Emily, as I'm sure you are :) I can just imagine your mom pouring over him too.

(I really think we're going to have to unite Italy and New Zealand. As long as Graydon doesn't mind older women, can you imagine how cute their kids would be?!?!)

I love that no one has to tell us how to become 'moms' ... it just all the sudden happens and you can't quit taking pictures of everything. Those ones are great!!
