Last weekend I went out to Canton again and had a blast! I met my mom, with about 10 other ladies from church, out there on Friday and we shopped til we dropped! I explored a whole other area of Canton and walked through so many pavilions! My mom and I finally realized one time, "I think this is the third time we've come by here!" There's SO MUCH that everything starts to look like everything else after a while.Since we just moved into a house and don't have much in the money department, it was really fun to watch everyone else spend! At the end of the night, we did a show and tell (just like back in 2nd grade!). We stayed the night at a friend's lake house and stayed up til 2 am laughing our guts out (again...just like back in 2nd grade!). Did I also mention that we ate our guts out too?
I was seriously in pain from all the food we ate. It was a blast and a welcomed relief from the grind of everyday life.
I couldn't help but post these pictures that we saw around the town of Canton. Only in the country are you going to see a "cowhide sale" and the oxymoronic "elegant ranch furnishings!" We at least thought it was funny. Maybe we were just slap happy!
p.s. We had a MAJOR rainstorm the night before and there were flash floods in Canton. We had to wade through puddles of mud everywhere! It was sad because vendors who had piles of stuff last month only had a few muddy items that they were able to save before they washed down the creek! Sad!

What a total oxymoron....are ranches EVER elegant? Who are they kidding?!
That looks like so much fun....next time....call me so that I have an excuse to leave Ryan with Gary for a short trip. lol.
So, you're telling me that you didn't buy ANYTHING?! Nothing? For real? Not even a toothpick?!
Your mom looks like she's 30...seriously! I swear the woman doesn't age. PUNK!
First off, love the clocks! Secondly, how fun to hang out with your Mom and the girls. I love hanging out with my mom. I wish she lived closer - not that 3 1/2 hours is that far away!
You totally should have splurged on the cowhide.
That sounds like too much fun. I would love a day with my little Mamma to get all punch drunk and silly. I agree with Emily. Cowhide is definitely an elegant ranch furnishing.
