Janette Church, Natalie Joyner, and I got together last weekend to make our favorite jams. (I love how Natalie's boy Luke is looking at Janette in this picture--he was so happy!) It totally cracks me up because I think back to high school days and if we would have imagined that
we would be getting together to CAN, we would have thought we were crazy! At least we stayed up really late like we used to! We were jamming past midnight!Crazy or not, we totally had fun! I made Raspberry Peach, Janette made Pepper Jelly (so good on cream cheese with crackers!), and Natalie made a good old classic: Strawberry.
Natalie introduced Janette and I to the old fashioned way of boiling your jam in the jars. The huge steaming pot was a bit intimidating (and I burned Natalie's foot...sorry Nat!). It was fun to learn, but I still think freezer jam is much easier!
Gary and Ryan joined us and this is what they did most of the night! So Cute!

Those two boys are total hotties!!! I love how we look exhausted....I'm glad that you got a picture of me using my sleeve as a hot pad because that spoon was so dang hot!!
Fun times! I would have love to join that jam session. Sounds delicious and it's always great to have a girlie night!
